SENIORS: NEED A LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION FROM YOUR COUNSELOR?

DO YOU NEED A LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION FROM YOUR COUNSELOR?

Complete the attached forms.  For the teacher forms, fill out the top portion and give them to those teachers, employers, community service supervisors, coaches, etc. who know you well.  Return these forms to your counselor or have them sent directly to the counseling office.

 

Provide the following documents to your counselor:

 

  1.  College Application School ReportIf your college accepts The Common Application, you must use it.  To check, go to the Common Application website at www.commonapp.org.  If they do not use the Common Application, check SENDedu at https://sendedu.org .  Input your counselor’s email address so he/she will be invited to complete the counselor section of the Common Application or SENDedu.

 

  1.  Letter of Recommendation PacketPlease fill out the packet COMPLETELY.  You may add a resume if you like.

 

 

  1. Completed FormsInformation forms that you gave to others to fill must be returned to us before we can write your recommendation letter.

 

Everything listed above must be available to your counselor by October 19th, 2015  or your form may not get completed.  Keep in mind: the more time we have to write your letter, the better it will be!

 

Schedule a time to meet with your counselor to discuss what you feel is important to include in the letter or recommendation.  Please do this as soon as possible in the school year.  Counselor assignments are as follows:
