Parking Permits

Licensed sophomores, juniors, and seniors are extended the privilege of driving to Silver Creek High School. Bring your completed application to the school bank.

It is understood that any violation of driving or parking regulations described below may result in suspension of this privilege.

Driving And Parking Regulations

  1. Licensed and insured sophomores, juniors, and seniors who wish to drive to school must display the current parking permit on the lower left corner of the FRONT windshield (driver’s side).
  2. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  3. Students may only park in open parking spaces in the parking lot off Daniel Maloney (next to the stadium). Students are prohibited from parking in the staff lot off Silver Creek Road (next to the tennis courts) during the school day.
  4. Vehicles improperly or illegally parked may be cited and/or towed.
  5. Silver Creek High School is not responsible for the vehicle or its contents. Students are encouraged to lock their vehicles and take any valuables with them.
  6. Students must abide by all DMV regulations and driving laws on campus and in the community surrounding the school, including the DMV first-year driving restrictions with regard to transporting other students.
  7. There will be no speeding over 5 m.p.h. in the school parking lots or any form of reckless driving on school grounds, coming to or leaving any SCHS events, and in the surrounding neighborhoods.
  8. Student vehicles are subject to search at the determination of Silver Creek High School’s Administration.
  9. Students are not permitted to go to their vehicles during the school day.
  10. Lost/stolen parking permits may be replaced for a $5 fee.

You will be required to provide a copy of your Driver’s License, Proof of Insurance, and Proof of Registration at the time of application. We have a limited number of permits to be issued. They will be issued on a first-come, first served-basis.

On behalf of Silver Creek High School Administration, upon further consideration of our parking permit guidelines, we are revising our previous price list to include the following changes:

Students are required to have a parking permit when parking on campus, students must only park in the designated parking areas. Parking permits are free of charge upon providing proof of a valid Driver's License, proof of insurance and registration to the school bank clerk. Please note that we have a limited number of permits to be issued.

Our growing enrollments have increased the number of concerns for vehicle safety.

As always Silver Creek High School strives to ensure the safety of our students and community.
