The Santa Clara Valley SWE scholarship

Dear Students, Parents, High Schools, College and Organizations:

The Santa Clara Valley SWE scholarship applications for 2017 are now open. The deadline is March 1, 2017. Winners will be notified in April and honored at our scholarship luncheon in early May.

Society of Women Engineers (SWE), founded in 1950, is a not-for-profit organization that supports professional and collegiate female engineers through professional development and career guidance programs. The organization has a goal to encourage more females in the field of engineering and technology through scholarships and outreach programs.

Each year the Santa Clara Valley section of SWE awards several scholarships, primarily on the basis of scholastic achievement, motivation and interest in engineering demonstrated in the application form. We also provide need-based scholarships. We would greatly appreciate if you can help us inform qualified candidates about this scholarship program.
